Each Bumblebee is a unique, handcrafted creation that brings a touch of whimsical artistry to your home.
Starting from a clear sheet of fusible glass, I meticulously apply enamel paint and various shades of yellows for the bodies and light blues, grays or purples glass powders for the wings of each bumblebee .Every piece is hand cut ensuring no two bumblebees are alike. To achieve a dazzling finish and it's 3-dimensional shape, each bumblebee is fired in a kiln three times.
Bases for the butterflies, dragonflies and bumblebees are sold separately and come in three sizes, allowing you to display one, two, or three glass items. Available in 4 or 6 inches, these bases elevate the glass pieces to a height of approximately 10 inches, making them a charming focal point in any room.
This is the smaller bumblebee has a wingspan of approximately 3 inches.
